Visited St Albans (which reminded me of Skipton, down to having the market and the street in the same orientation...) and to an Open Weekend at some environmental research centre the name of which currently escapes me. Missed out on cream tea at the manor, but did discover that Sue repels mosquitoes (apparently). Dad and Brian started discussing chemistry with one of the bods there, we scarpered.
Went out to run in Richmond Park this morning. The heavens opened. Over and over again. They changed the route and it was 8K instead of 5K, and they didn't tell me ahead of time. Sneaky. But this is because I turned up late although I did manage to catch some of the tail-enders as they were struggling up a hill.
Then it took over an hour to drive from Richmond Park back home, what fun. Went to Sainsburys instead and got what looks like yummy roast beef for this evening, though. Need to make a new CD for the car as Sue's dodgy music tastes mean I don't listen to about half of hers...
