Yesterday I got the bike back, with the new cranks. Shiny new cranks Typically, because it was the first time I'd been riding the bike for a few weeks, it pissed it down on the way home. And at one point the chain jumped off a chainweel and bent my front mech :( However a bit of bending with a chunky allen key and some twiddling of the cable tension seems to have rescued from that.

So all set for Sunday, I guess. It is of course completely idiotic to be doing a 5K+10K+5K duathlon when I'm still supposedly working my way up to a 10K run, but never mind. Anyone want to come along to Richmond Park on Sunday to point and laugh at the fat bloke on the wrong bike?

"Competitors must give way to the deer". Could be fun.
