Almost walking

Today I can almost walk normally. I have discarded the brace and just brought my pole. In fact, with the pole I still managed to walk up the hill on Whitton Avenue faster than Sue... but not any of the level/downhill bits.

Work is in a boring/frustrating/what-the-hell-now mode that will hopefully wear off once the release cycle marches on a bit further. Gah.

Sue spoilt us both by taking us to ASK last night. Granted, this isn't exactly high-falutin' cuisine, but it's still eating out. Certainly more glamourous than shoving leftover chilli into the microwave, which is what I think tonight has in store.
