Whee... well. I have finally got down to the overweight/obese boundary. Yes, I know this is an arbitrary point, but it's given me something to aim for, and I'm glad to have got here. I'm glad I can walk some extra distance and not feel like my knees are going to give way. I could probably go on a rollercoaster at Alton Towers without needing the attendant to push the bar down for me. These are good things for my self-image as well as physical well-being. OK, so part of it is about how I imagine other people's perceptions of me to be, but not all. I took some new photos to go on the progression page.

Went to Dark Trix last Saturday, actually managed to get on the dancefloor for a few tracks for the first time in, well, ages.... "Wise Up Sucker" got played, that's the first time I've heard that in a club-- neat. We got there late so actually ended up staying late for once.

Work is keeping me busy. I've not been on the plodders' forums, and only glancing at LJ once or twice a day or so. This is probably good, too, really. Boredom is the mind-killer.

I'm currently reading The Unifying Force, when I get a chance. It could be argued I have too many Star Wars books, but I don't care what you think.
