Hmm

Suicide Commando's album "Mindstrip"-- much better than I expected; I've not been keen on SC's music until hearing "Hellraiser". I heard "Love Breeds Suicide" played in a club once too. I guess it takes over from "I Don't Believe In Love" as track to play to expunge sickening displays of affection!

Since I seem to be in a depression trough atm, I think I will investigate putting together an MMC full of shouty aggressive music to play at work. Arguably, if I cared I would put together an MMC full of calming-yet-not-twee music. But I don't, so I won't.

Why Windows XP Home never blue-screens: if it gets a fatal kernel error, it reboots. You can actually see the blue screen flash up momentarily if your monitor takes a while to change modes. Kind of like the reason you don't get a W2K-style text boot-up menu is because they made the text black-on-black (but left the progress bar white-on-black).
